
Gary Adcock
Gary Adcock is recognized for his expansive knowledge of on-set production technologies and their effects on post-production and VFX. Having influenced the connection between acquisition, editing, and deliverables, Gary co-authored and was a technical editor for the Data Handling Procedures and Best Practices guide, still widely utilized by IATSE Local 600 (Cinematographer's Guild). Furthermore, he has been involved in the Digital Cinema Camera guide for the American Society of Cinematographers and co-founded the Camera Comparison Chart, a valuable resource for schools and rental facilities around the globe. His extensive knowledge and experience have made him a highly sought-after consultant and technical writer in the industry. Gary has shared insights on cinematography and associated technologies at numerous international events, including his role as the Programming Chair for the Director of Photography, Chair of the AI Creative Conference, and Virtual Production Conferences for the National Association of Broadcasters. His presentations have taken him to various events worldwide, such as NAB Shanghai, IBC Show, Interbee, CabSat, Broadcast Asia, and Broadcast India. Gary recently became an Associate Member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
